Renewal Raising the Profile of Gospel Music from the South West

The choir strives to promote itself as a leading light for gospel music in Bristol and the South West of England. As such, we view the challenges and excitement of our varied and inspired activities and projects as an exciting and important agenda marking a "coming of age" milestone in the choir’s journey of development and achievement.
Everyone loves fresh, high quality, soul stirring music and the delivery of several unique and exciting projects will create a lasting record of the Renewal's ability to touch lives with its good news message, divers musical influences and the make up of our brilliant personnel.
We have been very blessed indeed to have engaged the hugely talented production team of Darren Poole and Roger Russel of Abandon Records who have commit to working with Renewal to complete a charity single and album recording within this year. We aim to mark the release of the album with an end of project celebration event to coincide with Renewal's 2011 Christmas Concert in December of this year.
Our 2011 project portfolio will draw upon a broad repertoire providing a “showcase” of the choir collaborating with a range of national and local gospel music artist. The culmination of activity should create a lasting work of musical excellence as we seek to raise the bar for gospel music in the South West and beyond. (Author: )
