Joy to the World - Joyful Choir, Joyful Noise!
Enduring a demanding rehearsal schedule in pursuit of excellence and a final practice session, last night, to smooth out some last minute edges, Renewal Choir is now set to take to the stage tomorrow night for a for a sweet celebration concert at the Colston Hall in Bristol.
Though it’s been hard work to learn a creative and challenging repertoire the choir stays focussed by remembering that this event is a celebration. And, this celebration is about the Joy of expressing the special gift of singing the “good news” message of hope and love and renewal that tells of heavenly pleasure touching earthly need.
Joy is infections and the comment of just one member of the audience of the previous 2009 Renewal Choir Christmas celebration concert at the Colston Hall sums up why choir members have devote so much time and commitment to the task at hand. “Christmas is always a sad and depressing time for me but being at your concert has really lifted my spirits and change my whole outlook on the festive season. Thank you so much”
This event is for all in need of a good tonic for the soul where Renewal Choir’s “joyful noise” will touch the hearts other music just can’t reach serving as a timely reminder that Jesus is the reason for the season and the reason why Renewal can sing “Joy to the World” with power and authority.
